When the news of his discharge went viral in the media, a few people reached out to him. In an interview, the actor sais, “Right now I am at home. However, I feel very weak. I have a house help who is looking after me. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak and crises, my sister is unable to come down and meet me. I got discharged from the hospital on May 24th. The reason I took an early discharge was that I had no money left to give them. The total bill was 2 lacs rupees, which I managed to pay them somehow. My dialysis is still going on and it will remain so for about 2 months.”

Furthermore, the actor also said that “I go to the hospital for a checkup every alternate day. They charge Rs 2000 for 3 hours of dialysis. Over time I will be in a better position and will be able to move on my own. ” The actor further said, “I have lived a dignified life, and I didn’t think that I would have to see this day too.”
