On September 6, a similar event occurred on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Mandar Chanwadkar, who plays Bhide, called up to say he couldn’t report to the set since he wasn’t feeling well. The shoot was paused. What would have been a routine day of shooting became a halt. The reason for this is because actor Mandar Chandwadkar aka Bhide has a bad cold. He has been advised to stay at home and relax.
The team abruptly called a halt to the shoot. In truth, actor Raj Anadkat aka Tappu has been showing up to shoot for the past few days. He resumed exact moment when his part is ready- but he did not show up yesterday or today.
Later in the afternoon, Chandwadkar aka Bhide resumed shooting. He verified this to ETimes TV, saying that all of his scenes with Ganpati had to be shot even though he wasn’t feeling well at the time.
