Madhavi questions Bhide in the forthcoming episode as to why he did not give Popatlal the box. Bhide claims that Popatlal will be astonished to learn all of this and that they all lied to him to keep him waiting while Rahu Kaal is still going on.
The ladies press Bhide to display the gold jewelry, but he refuses, claiming that only Popatlal has access to it. However, Bhide consents to merely exhibit the gold and not touch it in response to everyone’s request. The ladies are all startled when Bhide cautiously opens the package and presents it to them.
The men all respond in unison when Bhide turns to face them. Bhide, in the meantime, believes that the gold is so alluring that no one can look away from it. He turns the box to his side and is astonished to discover that there is no gold within.
