In the current episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Iyer questions Jethalal about why he is standing in that position while he hides Babita’s shattered jhumka under his chappal. Jethalal then informs him that he has a cramp. Iyer shoves him and is startled to discover Babita’s broken jhumka beneath him. Jethalal apologizes to Babita and explains that he walked on the jhumka while looking for it. Iyer charges him with curse-casting everyone. They both leave when Babita says everything is great. When Jethalal arrives at his home, he witnesses Bapuji emerging. Informing him that he is leaving to visit a temple with his buddies, Bapuji begs Jethalal to be responsible and lock the door before he departs.
Bagha phones Jethalal at the same time he receives a courier. He assures Bagha he’ll call back later and hangs up after becoming upset with him. He picks up the courier and phones Bagha again, who tells him he was unable to get a locker since the bank’s personnel are on strike. Jethalal considers gifting Babita the jewelry box. He covers the box with goodies. And places it in a cover before going to her house.
He is greeted by Babita who opens the door. Jethalal informs her that the jewelry box is Popatlal’s. And asks her to keep an eye on it until he returns from the shop because he fears losing it or having an incident occur while he is there. He thanks her and departs after Babita agrees.
