Rupali gives an alternative to the ones who need to burn the crackers. She says light up a phuljhari or a chakri instead of crackers and create noise pollution. The actress further suggests that crackers should be banned from every festival.
The actress went on spreading awareness and informs that many birds have heart attacks because of the sound. She further adds, “People spend so much money on it, and all the money literally goes up in smoke.” For Rupali, the festival is not just about lights but more about spending time with the family, surrounded by loved ones.
