The popular TV actress Aalisha Panwar is homesick this Diwali. The festival of lights, Diwali is a huge deal in India. It is one of their favourite festivals. The same goes for Aalisha Panwar. The actress loves Diwali, however, this time she is not really eager to celebrate it. The Teri Meri Ek Jindri actor shares that Diwali was a huge deal in her childhood. She misses the Diwali celebration when she was a kid and with her family.

Actress Aalisha Panwar reveals that she had great fun celebrating Diwali in her hometown in Shimla. On Diwali, her friends, relatives and neighbours used to visit them there. Sharing her childhood Diwali memory, Aalisha says, “I remember my dad used to decorate the whole house. He used to put the fancy Mirchi lights, flowers and Diyas. My mother used to make flower garlands and hung them at the door and mandir. We also used to clean our house thoroughly before Diwali. And all those desserts, different dishes, sweets and the whole family coming together, relatives, neighbours, exchanging gifts etc together means the festival.”
Aalisha Panwar further sheds the light on the life of a TV actor. She says, “As a TV actor our lives are very unpredictable. You don’t know about your days off because if there is any telecast issue you will have to go back on the sets. We also have special programmes lined up for Diwali. So, if I have a day off on Diwali, I will be at home and do some cleaning and pooja.”
