Broker says Sushant and Rhea were Planning to Tie a Knot

Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at the age of 34. This news has sent shockwaves across the country. Sushant’s father, on Tuesday, filed an F.I.R. against Sushant’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, and her family. The case was filed in Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna. Bihar Police is currently investigating and interrogating people linked with Sushant. They have also gone through all the evidence collected by Mumbai Police. Bihar Police has recently taken Sushant’s broker, Sunny Singh’s, statement.

Broker’s statement:

The broker says that the late actor Sushant was about to marry Rhea Chakraborty. He also mentioned that the accommodation was suggested by Rhea and they were staying together since November last year. The broker went on to mention that Rhea had herself called to tell him about the house as they were planning to shift elsewhere. The current house was registered on both of their names.

Her broker said, “Sushant and Rhea were about to get married. And so they were looking for a house in Bandra. Both were looking for a house together.” As per reports, Sushant wanted a house in a posh society while Rhea did not have any restrictions for the same. The couple was also paying a high rent of over 4 lakh rupees for the Bandra apartment.

In the seven-page F.I.R. lodged by K.K. Singh, it was mentioned that Rhea and her family had convinced Sushant that his previous house was haunted and made him shift to a resort near Mumbai Airport.

Rhea Chakraborty has tried to move the apex court seeking a halt at the investigation by Bihar Police and move the case to Mumbai Police. Interpreting this, Sushant’s family lawyer has stated that there is someone in Mumbai Police who is helping Rhea.

In response to Rhea’s plea, Sushant’s father has filed a caveat to urge the court a hearing before giving any declarations regarding the case. Read here.
