Bollywood actor Salman Khan is almost always in the news for his charity work. The superstar is also not lagging during the quarantine and keeping on in his good deeds. The latest news amidst the lockdown is that Salman Khan to help 50 female workers in Sun City. Since the corona crisis, has started Salman has continuously shown support to the government and the citizens of India. The actor is working non-stop for the betterment of the country.
Let me remind you that his charity work started when he pledged to look after 25,000 daily wage workers from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). Out of the 25,000 workers, 19,000 have already sent their bank details, and some of them have voluntarily declined the charity by saying it should go to the ones needier than us. The FWICE General Secretary Ashok Dubey praised Salman Khan, and each member of the federation is grateful to him.
Salman Khan to help 50 female workers
Now, Salman will be helping 50 female workers just on a phone call. The actor has stuck away from Mumbai at his farmhouse in Malegaon. He received a call asking for help, to which his team inspected the call, and after thorough research, he decided to help them. The means of delivering the essential goods to the people from the actor has begun. Jordy Patel, the manager of Salman Khan, has confirmed this news.
Salman has donated Rs 4 crore 80 lakh in bank accounts of wage workers in the film industry. Taking the severity of the situation into consideration, Salman might be doing more donations to these laborers in the coming months too. Zeeshan Siddiqui, MLA from Bandra East Area shared a picture of a truck full of goods on his Twitter and thanked the actor by saying, “Thank you, Salman Khan, for this collaboration. Whenever someone needs help, you are always one step ahead to help. You proved this thing again.”
