Ranveer Shorey tweets about “The Gang” that controls Bollywood

Sushant Singh’s demise has re-ignited the debate of nepotism and favoritism in Bollywood. Netizens are enraged on this matter and we see no end to this any time soon. The problems that “Outsiders” face while entering Bollywood has come to the limelight. Started from Kangana Ranaut being vocal about this, now has made Ranvir Shorey too to speak up about the same. In a series of posts, Ranvir opened about “The Gang” in Bollywood. His remarks loudly bring to us about how some people control the major part of the industry.

“The Gang” of Bollywood

Ranvir shared, “The Gang” is essentially a mutually beneficial alliance of a few powerful, corrupt, crafty old men, and a few second generation younger producers who have inherited film empires. Their objective is to have control over the top of the pyramid and have pliable stars.”

Ranvir also shared a personal experience that took place 15 years ago that left him gloomy and filled him with despair. He mentioned, “I’ve had a run in with one of them 15 years ago. This is the man who fancies himself as the holy-moly Dronacharya of the gang, except when it comes to covering up the indiscretions and crimes of his own offsprings. A product of a damaged mind and faux spirituality,”
Last week, he shared that the tough times were enough to break him but his family and friends supported him to get through the problems. He also stated that he had to leave the country because of the toxicity that surrounded him.

He also talked about how isolated he was by the Bhatts. “Every chance and every platform they would get, they would be lying about me, saying I am an alcoholic and abuser. You feel so helpless and powerless because these people are so powerful that the press will just listen to them and not even bother calling you for your side of the story,” Mr Shorey said.
