Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas donate to Bihar Flood Relief

Priyanka Chopra and her famous husband Nick Jonas have yet again put forward their helping hands by donating to Bihar Flood Relief, a day after they donated to Assam Floods. They have urged their fans and followers to donate. They have also mentioned names of a few organizations who are collecting funds.
Many parts of India have been badly affected by the floods. Their condition is worsening and in such a scenario, the humble and philanthropist, Priyanka Chopra, highlighted the plight of the people and encouraged her friends to donate. She herself hails from Bihar. “The monsoons in India have caused major devastation in many parts of the country. In the state of Bihar, which is where I was born, continuous heavy rains have caused major flooding. Much like Assam, millions of people have been affected and many have been displaced as their homes were washed away in the deluge. As they grapple with this devastation, they need all the help we can provide,” the actress wrote this note.
She further mentioned, “Nick and I have already donated to a few organisations whose teams are engaged in active relief and rehabilitation work in the state. Now it’s your turn. #BiharFloods.”

Priyanka Chopra mentioned a day before donating to Bihar Flood Relief, “While we are all still dealing with the effects of the global pandemic, the Indian state of Assam has been grappling with another major crisis. It has been devastated by floods triggered by heavy monsoon showers affecting the lives of millions. The impact to life and land/property is unimaginable. The rapidly rising water level has also flooded the Kaziranga National Park, one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in the world.”
The couple earlier had donated to PM CARES fund and UNICEF to aid the living of daily wage workers who have suffered financial problems due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
The couple has been at their beck and call to extend help to the needy.
