Bhuvan Bam, a well-known digital content creator and performer is set to star in the upcoming comedy-drama series ‘Taaza Khabar.’ The show is a Hotstar special directed by Himank Gaur and is currently in development.
According to Bhuvan Bam, “I’m pleased that my character in Taaza Khabar allowed me to explore a completely different aspect of wishful thinking. Preparing for this role and his antics has been a humbling experience. As we begin filming, I’m convinced that portraying this character will be enjoyable because I already identify with him. It seems incredibly meaningful to be able to play this comedic yet emotional character in my first Disney+ Hotstar collaboration.”
Himank Gaur, the director, remarked, “When confronted with adversity, every human being wishes for magical abilities. With ‘Taaza Khabar’, we take a fresh look at the concept of wishful thinking. The ramifications that it can have if and when granted. Bhuvan Bam contributed his unique style to this realistic part, which I am convinced will appeal to viewers.”
Hussain and Abbas Dalal, a formidable writing duo, wrote the show. The series, which is based on the life of a sanitation worker, exposes class-based poverty and the human yearning to live a better life in a lighthearted manner.
Rohit Raj, the show’s producer, said, “‘Taaza Khabar’ is a foray into a new genre. Our crew is always eager to explore new territory. The writing is incredibly intriguing, and I’m looking forward to putting on a show that everyone can enjoy “.
