Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie Tiku Weds Sheu. The film is produced by controversial Queen Kangana Ranaut. Along with Nawaz, the audience will get to see the young and upcoming actress Avneet Kaur in the lead role. Ahead of the film’s release, Nawaz took a silent jibe at the success of South films KGF 2 and RRR.
Lately, all anyone could talk about is the surprising success of South films at Hindi cinemas. Now, even Nawazuddin joined the bandwagon and shared his opinion. The actor was last seen in Heropanti 2 along with Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Heropanti 2 is helmed by the ace filmmaker Ahmed Khan. The film hit the theatres on 29th April 2022 along with Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34.
In a recent conversation with a media portal, Nawazuddin said, “South mein kya hai, Tamil mein baat Karte hain, proud feel karte hain. Kannada hain toh Kannada mein baat karte hain… Saare writers bhi Kannada mein baat kar rahe hain, director bhi, saare local hain. Sabko samajh aa rahi hain sabki baatein (In the South, Tamil crews are proud of their language. Kannada screenwriters, and directors all speak in Kannada. They understand what’s being said onset).”
He started by saying, “I felt the audience will mature after the pandemic and lockdown because they would have seen good international cinema. Change has come, but it’s for the worse.” “When a film does well everyone joins in and praises it even more, if a film doesn’t collect good money people criticize it more.”
