The movie also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashishth, and Neeraj Sood in the pivotal roles. Janhvi’s first look from the movie has left the audience excited about her film. However, the farmers protesting in Punjab don’t seem to be happy with the shooting. As per a report in Times of India, the farmers have stalled Good Luck Jerry’s shooting. They have stopped the shooting happening in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. When the farmers got to know that a Janhvi Kapoor starrer is being shot in Punjab, they went to the location. They forced them all to show support to the farmers by posting on their social media accounts. The farmers reasoned it as the film community earns a lot of money by shooting in Punjab but they do not support the farmers. Therefore, Janhvi Kapoor took to social media to express her support for the farmers in the ongoing protest. She also posted against the farm laws.
Janhvi wrote on Instagram, “Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognise and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers.” The other team members of the film also extended their support for the farmers on social media. Post these happenings, the farmers left the sets for the team to continue their shooting.
Earlier Janhvi had said about her late mother, “My mom’s maternal, ancestral house is in Chennai, and for a long time, we couldn’t stay there as some renovations needed to be done. Papa finally managed to get it done. It is a beach house, which was my mom’s dream. We were so busy with our lives in Mumbai that we never paid attention to doing up this house.”
