Ashok Pandit, Chairman Association of IMPPA & also a film director said. “The panic has risen, and so all the shootings in India will be stopped. Even the South Industry agrees with us, be it films, television, or digital platform, everything will be postponed. The regional cinema industry or any other cinema agrees with our decision.”; He also adds, “The Indian entertainment industry is very serious about coronavirus. By Thursday the people shooting in abroad will also come back. This three days before the shooting stops officially also allows the broadcasters to find a way to carry their work.

Ashok Dubey, general secretary of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, says, ‘I represent the 25 lakh workers and technicians who work on the daily wedges. Earn daily and eat daily, but there is nothing more than life. Whatever decision has been taken by the producer’s body, we are with them and we will also agree with whatever decision will be taken on 31 March. On March 5, we had removed the circulation to shoot with cleanliness and sanitation while shooting on set. We are also going to the set in between to check whether the rules are being followed at the shooting location.

Although very sad, this is the right decision, as health always comes first. We might not be able to see our favorite shows and films soon but at these crucial times, it is better to stay safe and healthy. Film & TV shootings at a halt is the best decision for now. BollywoodHush recommends you to use the right preventive measures against the Covid-19 virus. Stay tuned for more latest updates and news.
