Gauahar Khan has stated that her husband Zaid Darbar threatened to call off their wedding if she did not fulfill one of his wishes. She stated in an interview that Zaid informed her that he can put up with anything,’ but that there would be no wedding if she didn’t wear Mehendi.
After a brief relationship, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar married on December 25 last year. Zaid first noticed her in a store in July of last year. Despite his repeated attempts to get her to notice him, she continued to ignore him. In an interview with Coffee Time with Griha, Gauhar Khan said, “Zaid told me I can put up with anything, your job schedule everything, but if you don’t wear Mehendi on our wedding, then call this quits.”
“My husband Zaid was nice enough to accompany me for the shoot because we just got married and I was a new bride. In reality, I was wearing my wedding Mehendi in 14 Phere. I’m not sure how Allah did it so wonderfully, but all of the sequences I shot for the film after my wedding were all marriage scenes,” Gauahar Khan stated earlier in an interview with SpotboyE
Gauahar Khan And Zaid Darbar Honeymoon
More than six months after their wedding, Gauahar and Zaid traveled on their honeymoon to Moscow, Russia. She posted a series of photos and videos with Zaid on Instagram.
“It was a honeymoon vacation because we couldn’t go anyplace after our wedding. We both had jobs, and while we visited a few locations in India, most of our travels were for business. So, when we found out that Russia is open to visitors and we were looking for a vacation, we decided to go. We took all the necessary measures and had a great time. People over there weren’t as cautious as we were (laughs). It was a lot of fun, and there were a lot of activities to choose from. It was wonderful after everything we’ve gone through this year,” she told Hindustan Times.
Gauahar, on the other hand, was recently spotted in 14 Phere. Devanshu Singh directed the film, which also stars Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda. A major part was also played by actor Jameel Khan. On July 23, the film premiered on Zee5.
