We have been hearing news of Shaheer Sheikh getting engaged to Ruchikaa Kapoor. He had uploaded a post of the same on social media of his then fiancée Ruchikaa. Now the most exciting of all is the couple has got married. They got married a few days ago and as per reports in Bombay Times it was a court marriage because of the global coronavirus pandemic. In addition, they plan to have a traditional wedding in June 2021. The couple flew to Jammu, which is Mahabharat actor’s hometown. In Jammu they had a small ceremony at Shaheer’s house. In addition, another informal ceremony at Ruchikaa’s residence in Mumbai took place. Sheikh spoke about the marriage with his ladylove in the interview with Bombay Times.

He said, “Ruchikaa is honest when it comes to her feelings. The best part about our relationship is that we are friends first. Being an actor, I have to pretend in front of the camera all the time, but I have found a partner with whom I get to be myself. I’ve always said that I’m a ‘wanderer’ and I’ve finally found the right companion. I am looking forward to my never-ending travels with her.”
Ruchikaa also shared that she fell for Shaheer’s simplicity and humility. She shared that it’s rare to find someone who keeps it real and believes in the goodness of people. Although they both come from different backgrounds but instead of focusing on differences, they celebrate them. She concluded by saying, “We may make little sense to the world, but we make a lot of sense to each other.”
Shaheer and Ruchikaa met on the sets of Judgementall Hai Kya around two years ago. They have been dating for a year and a half.
Announcing that they are engaged, Shaheer shared a picture of Ruchikaa where she is laughing while flaunting the ring given by Shaheer. He captioned it as, “#TuHasdiRave excited for the rest of my life..#ikigai”
