Sushant’s demise has sent shock-waves across the country. The actor at the age of 34 passed away in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai. As per reports, the actor died by suicide. However, this is still under controversy. Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed an F.I.R. against the actor’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, and her family. Rhea’s lawyer had recently filed a request in the Supreme Court for a protective order. This order for interim protection has recently been declined by the Supreme Court.
In Sushant’s case, the Supreme Court denies interim protection to Rhea:
The declination of interim protection allows Bihar Police to question Rhea Chakraborty with regard to the case. The judge said, “We want all parties to hold their hand for the time being. Lawyers are here and I am sure they have all heard you.”
Rhea tried to seek protection from questioning and the IPS officer from Bihar was forcefully quarantined in Mumbai. All of this strongly opposed by Sushant’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh. The lawyer believes that all these acts are being done to wipe off all the evidence related to Sushant’s death. Rhea has even moved the Supreme Court to seek a curb on the investigation being done by the Bihar Police. She has even filed a plea to transfer the case from the Bihar Police to the Mumbai Police.
The Mumbai Police have also denied co-operating with the Bihar Police. Denying to hand over the document to the Bihar Police, the Mumbai Police has given rise to controversies.
Sushant’s death case has yet again attracted the limelight as the actor’s father, Mr. K.K. Singh, filed an F.I.R. against Rhea Chakraborty. The F.I.R. is on grounds of abetment to suicide, criminal breach of trust, theft, fraud, wrongful confinement, cheating, and more.
