Shilpa Shetty has been in the news after her husband Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in an adult film scam. While the actress has had a difficult time, she has also taken a break from Super Dancer 4 these days. Her co-judge Anurag Basu has now spoken out about her absence, saying that he misses having her on-site.
Super Dancer 4: Anurag Basu Missed Shilpa Shetty Kundra On Sets
Anurag remarked in a recent interview with Hindustan Times that Shilpa is missed on the sets of Super Dancer 4. “Absolutely, Shilpa is sorely missed on set. All of us who are a part of the show, including those behind the scenes and the choreographers, have formed a camaraderie.
The filmmaker was reported as stating, “We’re a small family, so when one of us is absent, mushkil hota hai. Shilpa is close to us.” When asked if he had any idea when Shilpa will return to Super Dancer 4, the ace filmmaker replied he hopes she will return soon, but he has no idea when she will restart shooting.
“I have no idea. I wrote her a message asking, ‘When are you coming back?’ but received no response, so I have no idea when she will return. I’m not sure. I’m not sure what’s going on. Let’s hope she comes back soon. All I want to do now is look forward to,” Anurag stated.
Shilpa has been a judge on the dancing reality show Super Dancer since its beginning in 2016, with Anurag Basu and choreographer Geeta Kapur.
