Late legend Dilip Kumar’s death came as frightening and saddening news almost two months ago. The actor died at the age of 99, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered for generations. Saira Banu, his wife, was a steady source of support for him during his difficult times with health concerns. Throughout it all, Banu was there for him. However, the female actor is currently suffering from health issues and was admitted to the hospital, which came as a shock.
Saira Banu Need Angiography
Veteran actress Saira Banu was admitted to the hospital three days ago after she complains of a blood pressure-related issue. Yesterday the Padosan star was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward of the hospital. Dr. Nitin Gokhale who is a cardiologist at the hospital is in charge of the late legend’s wife. His father, Dr. Shrikant Gokhale, was Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu’s family doctor.
Updating about Saira Banu’s healthy, Dr. Nitin said, “She is great, she has completely stabilized, and we will be taking her out of the ICU either tonight or tomorrow. It’s a case of left ventricular failure, and angiography will be required. It will be cured,” said the cardiologist.
The angiography will be completed in due time; however, Saira Banu may be discharged and will need to return to the hospital for the procedure. “First and foremost, we must control her diabetes,” he added.
Films starring Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar include Sagina, Gopi, Bairaag, and Duniya. In October 1966, the actress married Dilip Kumar. During Dilip Kumar’s final days in the hospital, Saira Banu was always at his side. Faisal Farooqui, a family friend, announced Dilip Kumar’s death on the actor’s official Twitter account on July 7.
We hope the actor can recuperate as quickly as possible and feels better.
