Saif Ali Khan is said to have rented out his previous property in Mumbai’s Fortune Heights. Previously, the actor and his wife, Kareena Kapoor, dwelt in the building with their son Taimur Ali Khan. Earlier this year, the family relocated to a larger home.
Saif Ali Khan Rented Out his Old Condo
According to an article in Money Control, Indextap.com discovered a registered rent agreement document, which stated that Saif Ali Khan rented the house to a company called Guilty by Association Media LLP. They had to put down a security deposit of Rs. 15 lakh. The flat is said to be 1,500 square feet and includes two parking spaces.
The property has been rented for three years, and the rent has increased each year. The first year’s rent will be 3.5 lakh per month, rising to 3.67 lakh and 3.87 lakhs in the second and third years, respectively. The apartment’s market worth is said to be between 12 and 14 crores.
The contract was signed on August 13, 2021, only days before Harry, Kareena, and his boys Taimur and Jeh went on vacation to the Maldives. Before Jeh’s birth, Kareena and Saif moved into a larger property in Mumbai’s Bandra neighborhood. Kareena has frequently shared photos of her home on Instagram.
“Saif and Kareena’s new house is an extension of sorts of the old one,” designer Darshini Shah, who created Kareena and Saif’s new home, told a leading daily in January this year. They didn’t want to leave their house in Fortune Heights because it had become so cozy for them. So, while the new house, which they should be moving into soon, has the same vibe as the previous one, it also fulfills their new set of needs, especially now that they are expecting their second child. It contains a lovely new nursery for the baby, as well as Taimur’s area as he grows older.
It’s significantly larger than their previous residence, with lovely terraces, a swimming pool, outside areas, and planted open spaces. It has enough space for everyone.”
