The Q, India’s fastest-growing Hindi General Entertainment channel, debuts its first original criminal fiction series, “Jurm Ka Chehra,” on television. The show will launch on September 4th and will air every Saturday and Sunday thereafter. The show, hosted by acclaimed actor Kinshuk Vaidya, is centered on contemporary criminal stories that plague our society.
Renowned Actor Kinshuk Vaidya Turns Host
With time, crime has increased and taken on new forms. Not only do murders and robberies terrify people, but so do other immoral and widespread crimes like cybercrime and internet fraud, to name a few. To raise awareness, the presentation will present ‘Naye Zamaane Ki Nayi Crime Stories,’ which are inspired by modern-day atrocities.
Kinshuk Vaidya, who rose to stardom as a child actor in the early 2000s on being the presenter of the show, said, “Jurm Ka Chehra on THE Q is the polar opposite of any role I’ve ever played in front of an audience. It’s my first time hosting a show, and it’s a crime show, so having that subtle beard and mustache, as well as performing with a certain level of seriousness and sternness, was thrilling for me as an actor.
My experience as an actor has been more of a chocolate boy-next-door type. Foraying into crime drama sounded hard and new. You would not believe the social and contemporary crimes that occur nowadays. Nothing these days is unbelievable, whether it’s internet banking offenses, cybercrime, or murder. Jurm Ka Chehra will focus on such current crimes, and this is what makes the show unique. I’m grateful THE Q provided me with this opportunity to go to new places. I hope that through viewing our show, the audience accepts me in this capacity and becomes more vigilant.”
The show Jurm Ka Chehra will premiere on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
