The businessman, who was arrested on July 19, said in his bail hearing that he was wrongfully accused and pulled into the case. Raj Kundra, according to the charge sheet, was the primary facilitator. He along with other defendants, exploited young women working in the film industry.
The charge sheet said that pornographic videos were posted on numerous websites and apps. And the videos were sold through subscriptions. It includes testimony from 43 witnesses, including Shilpa Shetty.
Shilpa Shetty’s testimony said that she was unaware of her husband’s activities. She was preoccupied with her career. Shilpa was included in the charge sheet. Mrs. Raj Kundra also stated in her statement that she was unaware of the infamous applications Hotshots and Bollyfame. Both of the app have been tied to the pornographic industry.
