Neha Rana has landed a key role in Choti Sarrdaarni, which recently had a 20-year generation leap, even before the program Ishk Par Zor Nahi, in which she portrays Param Singh’s ex, concludes. “While my character Rhea in the last episode was negative, the new one — Anurati — has grey shades. She, too, will ultimately turn positive, just like Rhea. Anurati is an event planner who comes to the Gills with a plan,” she adds of her role.
Neha made her television debut in the show Ishk Par Zor Nahi, which will end on August 20. When asked how different the two films are for her as a performer, Neha says, “I can’t compare the two outings. During my prior performance, I was younger. To be honest, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure and pull off my role because it was my first television program. I was scared and worried about how I would handle the situation. My director, on the other hand, guided me and assisted me in completing the task. I was able to properly portray my role and progressively increased the pace.”
“I’ve developed as an actress on the job and learned a lot while working on my debut show. Seen a difference in myself. My acting and confidence have both increased since then. So I had an easy first day on the set of Choti Sarrdaarni. My experience on my first performance has served me well in Choti Sarrdaarni. The actors and crew of Choti Sarrdaarni are amazing. On the first day of the shoot, it was great fun chatting with everyone on set. My co-actors were friendly and accommodating, so I didn’t feel out of place,” she said.
