Actress Mouni Roy has become a household name as a result of her work on television shows such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Naagin, and others. She moved on to try her hand in films after her TV stint and has been working in the profession ever since. She is said to have an exciting role in the magnum opus film Brahmastra, but aside from that, the actor is expected to return to television in the shape of a reality show. Roy will appear as a judge on the fifth season of Zee TV’s dance reality show Dance India Dance – L’il Masters.
Mouni Roy to make comeback on TV after 5 years
Mouni Roy went on to say. “I am excited and nervous because this is my first job as a judge on a reality show. The first thing that sprang to me when I was offered Dance India Dance Li’l Masters was how graceful Madhuri Dixit ma’am. Remo D’Souza sir, and Karan Johar sir were during my season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. We’d pay attention to them and take their advice. So, as I take on this new duty, I immediately feel a sense of responsibility. I am happy for the opportunity,” in an interview with ETimes TV.
Mouni went on to say that she hasn’t given up acting on television. She said, “I am a very proud TV performer. I didn’t stop watching television; it was simply an issue of commitment. As an actor, I want to be able to play a variety of roles. A TV project, on the other hand, entails a year or two of dedication. That was something I had distanced myself from for a long time. However, being a part of this show feels natural. Kids and dancing are two of my favorite things. When a chance like that presents itself, you don’t ask questions… you take it (smiles).”
Aren’t we all hoping to see Roy in another TV show soon?
