Maera Mishra On Bagging Zee TV Show Bhagya Lakshmi
“When I was offered a position in Bhagya Lakshmi, I was quite pleased, especially considering it is a Balaji show that airs on Zee TV. It was one of the most unexpected phone calls I’ve ever received, as I was collecting my belongings to travel to Mumbai for something else when I received a call from the Bhagya Lakshmi team informing me that I had been chosen for this critical duty. This is my second show with Zee TV after Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, and I’m looking forward to playing a grey character.
Grey characters, I believe, provide me with a fantastic opportunity to explore and improve my acting abilities. Even the audience has lost interest in whether someone is playing a negative or positive persona. They no longer typecast actors, preferring to see what the actor contributes to the play. That allows me to demonstrate my acting abilities in any role, and I am particularly excited to do so in the role of Mallishka.
To be honest, I’m not even close to Mallishka, so it’s a task in and of itself. I hope everyone continues to support me and showers me with love and blessings,” Maera said of landing the show.
When asked about how her co-stars are, the actress said that they are amazing to work with. “They are simply amazing. On the first day of my shoot, they all greeted me with open arms. I already knew Rohit, and Aishwarya is such a sweet girl, so we all hit it off right away. Working with Smita Ji, Uday Ji, and the production staff has also been a fantastic experience; everyone is so welcoming and friendly that I don’t feel like I’m away from home when on set,” Maera adds about her co-stars.
It will be fascinating to see how Lakshmi responds to this circumstance.
