Rajan was overcome with emotion as he spoke about their chat, saying, “When the iconic singer called me and expressed her appreciation for ‘Anupamaa,’ I was overjoyed. She claims to be a die-hard fan of the show, never missing an episode. We talked for quite a while, and she covered every facet of the show. She told me about each character and expressed some strong feelings about the show. She also stated that a show like this is urgently needed.”
This is the second time she has personally called the legendary producer to discuss his show. He has previously spoken with Asha Bhosle about his superhit TV show “Bidaai… Sapna Babul Ka.”
“Bidaai… Sapna Babul Ka was her favorite show. She had missed a few episodes of ‘Anupamaa’ this time, and it reminded me of the last time she expressed regret for not being able to watch a few episodes of ‘Bidaai…’ due to her travel, and I had sent the full series for her to watch,” he stated.

Asha Ji called it “one of the best shows” and said she talks about it with her family. She stated that whenever the pandemic situation improves, she would like to see everyone on set personally.”
