Sushant Singh Rajput left for heavenly abode on June 14 at the age of 34. The actor died due to suicide, as per reports. More than a month after his demise, the actor’s father, Mr. K.K. Singh, filed an F.I.R. against the actor’s live-in partner, Rhea Chakraborty. The F.I.R. was filed in Rajiv Nagar Police Station, Patna. This has called for a parallel investigation by the Bihar and Mumbai Police. To carry forward the investigation of Sushant’s, Bihar SP traveled from Bihar to Mumbai. However, he was forcefully quarantined by the Maharashtra Government. Many requests and pleas flooded the BMC’s desk but none made them change their mind.
BMC refuses to relieve Bihar SP for Sushant’s case probe:
Recently, The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has refused to permit the IPS officer Vinay Tiwari from quarantine for Sushant’s case. Despite getting a letter from the Patna Inspector General, the BMC has refused to do so. Sharing the unfortunate and unexpected decision, Bihar DGP took to Twitter to share the news, “The Patna IG had written a letter to the Chief of BMC opposing the quarantining of IPS Vinay Tiwari and requested that he be released, which has been rejected. BMC has sent a reply to the letter to Patna Police. Now our SP Vinay Tiwari will be locked inside for 14 days. This decision of BMC is unfortunate!” Check the tweet here:

The IPS officer who has been assigned the duty to probe into late actor Sushant’s case was quarantined hours after he reached Mumbai on Sunday. Earlier, Bihar DGP G. Pandey had told ANI, “They’ve forcibly quarantined an IPS officer. If Maharashtra govt is proud of their police, then tell us what they’ve done in 50 days after death of Sushant S Rajput. Mumbai has closed all communication channels with us. This indicates that something is wrong.”
