The drug scandal involving Bollywood gets murkier by the day, with Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, still being held in custody with no positive developments expected anytime soon. This isn’t the first time Bollywood has been involved in a drug scandal. Even in the past, reports indicated that Bollywood had a serious drug problem. Recently, Arman Kohli was also taken into custody by NCB for drug consumption. Now we have latest news on Armaan Kohli drugs case bail hearing for you.
Armaan Kohli Drugs Case
People connected to the industry confirm that the majority of Bollywood celebs are drug addicts, with a distinct consumption area at their high-end parties. In the last ten years, drug addiction has become more prevalent in Bollywood. There has been no survey on this, yet 90 percent of people in Bollywood are drug addicts.
On the other hand, actor Armaan Kohli, who was also arrested in the narcotics bust at his home, has now had his case updated. Kohli is currently being held on remand for his alleged role in a recent NCB drugs bust.
According to the latest information, Armaan’s bail application will be heard on October 13. The actor has spent over two months at Arthur Road jail. He was being arrested by NCB in August for narcotics possession and consumption. The NCB has maintained that Kohli is facing significant allegations. In addition to consumption, he is facing several other offenses. The NCB has launched a zero-tolerance drug campaign and has carried out many searches to rid the city of the scourge.
Kohli is the son of renowned director Rajkumar Kohli. He rose to prominence after appearing in Bigg Boss Saath 7 on television. Khan was recently transferred to Arthur Road Jail, where Kohli has been detained for several months.
