Ayushmann Khurrana turns Action Hero
Anirudh Iyer will direct the film, which is described as a polished actioner with an odd satirical sense of humor. Khurrana, who will be seen in his debut action picture, says he was smitten by the script. “I fell in love with Action Hero’s script right away. It’s wacky, new, and disruptive, with all of the cinematic trappings for which I’ve become renowned.”
The 37-year-old actor expressed his delight at the prospect of working with Rai for the third time. “With Action Hero, we intend to maintain our track record of entertaining audiences throughout the world with revolutionary scripts. I’m also looking forward to working with Bhushan Ji once more. To me, the color yellow and the T-Series are like second homes ” added Ayushman.
Rai expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with Khurrana. “While this is the first time we’ve tried this genre, it’ll be the third time we’ve worked with Ayushmann on a project. It’s always a pleasure to work with him, and I’m looking forward to the film’s release,” he stated.
Kumar stated that Action Hero is a unique film. “In this film, Ayushmann plays the titular Action Hero to perfection. This is T-Series’ fourth collaboration with Ayushmann, which makes it even more significant for everyone involved. We can’t wait for it to hit the floors so we can see him in character,” said the director.
The movie will be shot in India and the United Kingdom. Rai, Kumar, and Krishan Kumar produce Action Hero, which is a T-Series and Colour Yellow production.
