Last week, though, the actor was arrested after the NCB discovered cocaine in his Juhu home during a raid. Kohli was apprehended by the narcotics enforcement agency. After the operation and appeared in front of a special NDPS court on Monday. After the NCB declined to request his remand, he was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and committed to judicial custody.
Armaan Kohli In Judicial Custody For 14 Days
The NDPS court on Wednesday ordered Armaan Kohli to be held in judicial custody for 14 days. Apart from drug use, the NCB has previously stated that they have brought severe accusations against the actor.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) nabbed actor Armaan Kohli earlier this week after a raid at his Mumbai home. According to the agency, his Andheri residence yielded one gram of cocaine. An NDPS court sentenced the actor to 14 days in judicial prison on Wednesday.
Kohli was reportedly taken to judicial prison after the NCB declined to seek his remand, prompting the actor to file a bail application. Apart from drug consumption, the NCB had previously stated that they have filed severe accusations against the actor. According to their charge sheet, Kohli will now be charged for drug consumption or being a part of a drug delivery network.
When officials were questioning narcotics smuggler Ajay Raju Singh, Kohli’s name came up in the inquiry. Many times, he admitted to providing drugs to Kohli, and his Whatsapp conversations with him reportedly confirmed this.
Following Singh’s information, the NCB searched Kohli’s residence on Saturday. Cocaine was discovered on a table in his bedroom.
