It’s only normal to read comments on your own or others’ postings if you’re on social media. While a few caustic remarks might start a passionate debate among your friends, they can also cause strained relationships. Celebrities, on the other hand, are unable to respond since they get trolled no matter what they do. Arbaaz Khan discussed celebrity cyberbullying and how the ordinary may still pay a simple fee if they are at fault, while celebrities can miss out on huge projects even if they park their car in the incorrect parking place by accident.

Sumit Dutt Teams Up With Arbaaz Khan On Celebrity Cyberbullying

Sumit Dutt, who has appeared in films like “Jai Ho,” “Dabangg 2,” and “Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh,” is teaming up with Arbaaz Khan to create a dialogue about cyberbullying and toxic trolls. “Prominent individuals are always the target of these trolls, and we want to share how celebrities deal with these trolls with everyone so that other people who suffer similar wrath on social media may be inspired,” says Sumit Dutt.

Celebrities receive too much criticism on social media for their actions. It might be a kind gesture, but trolls are simply there to make unpleasant comments. “The accountability of performing a bad deed or making a stray word is right now just for the individuals who are known and this needs to come down to the common level. No one challenges ordinary people when they do anything. Including using harsh language that they would never use in their own homes. However, social media is a place where a public figure cannot get away with murder; in fact, they risk losing projects or perhaps their careers,” Arbaaz said in a recent interview with ETimes.

While social media offers several benefits, it also has several drawbacks. Because of the enormous influence that these platforms possess, we must find a healthy balance. “If a regular person parks his car in a no-parking zone, he will just be fined Rs 200 and will get away with it. If a celebrity does it by accident, the indignation will be too strong, and he may lose endorsements and projects. So, why is the price for prominent personalities so expensive – this needs to come down a little,” explains Arbaaz Khan.
