For the unversed, the world suicide prevention day is observed on 10th September every year. Keeping that in mind, the Mariam Khan Reporting Live actress stresses the importance of mental health.
The major causes that often drives people to such drastic steps are financial failure or marriage or relationship failure. To this, the actress said, “Mental health and mind power are the most important, everything else comes later,”
Actress Sheena Bajaj emphasis the awareness of the major causes of suicides. She said, “The fast-moving lifestyle and quick fame which people are getting suddenly and not able to handle. There are a lot of factors.”

Sheena Bajaj has also seen some tough times in her life. But she has never had suicidal thoughts. She opens up about a difficult phase of her life when she undergo surgery, and doctors said she won’t be able to stand on her feet without help for 5 to 8 months.
Recalling her tough time, Sheena said, “It depends on my mind power, and when I was totally dependent on my family members for each and everything, I experienced a lot of anxiety,”
The Thapki Pyarki actress further adds, “I share with them what is on my mind especially with my mother who is the greatest pillar of support.” Talking about her self-motivation she said, “If you have not motivated yourself, you have lost the battle already. Post-pandemic, everyone is affected, but actors are suffering a lot due to low budgets, fewer offers and too much competition. Newcomers are ready to work for free.”
