If you’ve been on social media recently, you’ve probably heard Sri Lankan sensation Yohani’s viral song Manike Mage Hithe. The good news is that the song will be remade in Hindi and will appear in the film Thank God, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn, and Rakul Preet Singh. T-Series made the announcement with a photo of director Indra Kumar and Yohani, and fans of the Sri Lankan singer were ecstatic. The song will be featured in a special Hindi version of the film, which will be released in theaters next year.
Director Indra Kumar confirmed the news. He said, “Yohani’s song has gone viral. I owe Bhushanji a huge debt of gratitude for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of Thank God! We’re all incredibly excited for this version, and we’ll be shooting the track very shortly. Thank God is a one-of-a-kind slice-of-life comedy. My entire team and I are excited to bring it to audiences next year!”
Tanishk will compose the song for Sidharth and Ajay’s film, and Rashmi Virag will write the lyrics.
