Mumbai Police calls out the misogynist scenes in Bollywood films | Post goes viral


The social media handle of the Mumbai Police is always on the buzz. The netizens love the quick and sassy reply of the Mumbai Police on social media. Recently, the official social media handle of the Mumbai Police pointed out the misogynist scenes in Bollywood films. Calling out the film industry by saying ‘Cinema is a reflection of our society.’ This post got viral in seconds after posting. The netizens couldn’t be thankful enough for someone actually saying the problem out loud. 

Mumbai Police is focused on spreading awareness of women’s safety through social media. They sparked the internet by sharing some iconic yet very misogynist scenes of Bollywood movies. ‘Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam’, ‘Maalamaal’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and more films are featured in their post. However, the Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor’s movie made it to the list twice.  

Misogynist scenes in Bollywood films:
