Pradip Khairwar On Sucess Of Blind Love
Pradip Khairwar expresses his joy by saying, “It’s a fantastic feeling and I’m delighted with the reception the film has gotten. The audience has validated my work as a filmmaker. We’re gearing up for the second season after the huge success of Blind Love. We can’t wait to begin the process all over again. This time, I promise, the audience will love it even more.”
Pradip also expresses his thanks to FNP media’s Vikaas Gutgutia, saying, “I am extremely grateful to Mr. Vikaas Gutgutia for creating his own YouTube channel and supporting such a fantastic concept and promoting fresh talent. I truly believe there is a separate audience on YouTube who does not consume material on OTT platforms because they are paid.”
Pradip has a lengthy history with filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, with whom he has collaborated for the last eight years. “I learned a lot from the maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma,” he admits.
“After so many years of working with him, the moment had come for me to go out on my own. As a result, I moved out and started working as a freelance filmmaker. People expected me to start with an underground, dark thriller as a protégée of RGV, but they were all astonished when they saw Blind Love. Even RGV gave me a positive response, asking, “Did you make Blind Love?” he continued.
Pradip wrote the film six years ago intending to make it become a feature film, but when Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil came out, he changed his mind and decided to adapt it into a short film. So, what do you think contributed to the success of Blind Love?
He said, “The narrative, for sure. A good notion is always beneficial to the audience. Because the audience is clever, your marketing approach will never work for a dull concept.”
