Bollywood Covid-19 Scare: COVID 19 isn’t showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. The tinselvile is humming with news of celebrities being diagnosed with the fatal virus, thanks to the dramatic increase in the number of new cases being reported every day. Another B-Town celebrity has been infected with COVID-19, after the likes of Mrunal Thakur, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kubbra Sait, and others. Mithila Palkar is a television actress who has been in shows such as Little Things, Tribhanga, Chopsticks, and others. The actress is currently quarantined at home.
Mithila rushed to social media to spread the news, revealing that she had been diagnosed with the deadly illness just a few weeks before her birthday. The actress has also asked her followers to take all required safety precautions. “Hiee frenz! I have started my birthday week on a Covid positive note. Bummer, I know! I’m asymptomatic and isolating and enjoying all the attention my friends and family are virtually showering. That aside, my family is so far okay. I’m very careful with all of them (especially my grandparents, who I hardly met now since I started working), so I’m hoping they continue to be okay. Those who I met over the past 10 days have already been informed. I’m just popping by here to tell you to mask up, stay safe and hang in there!”
Recently, Kubbra Sait acknowledged that she had tested positive for COVID 19. “Hey, gorgeous people. First and foremost, #maskup. Second, I’ve tested positive with COVID-19, which is mild and asymptomatic. Please run home and test if you were in contact with me… (so that we don’t overburden the already overburdened testing system. I still haven’t received the lab’s results. It’s been 36 hours) Otherwise, stay indoors and take a break. You may be unaware that you are a carrier (at this stage). I’m in good shape. Resting and watching TV are two of my favourite pastimes. Maintain a peaceful frame of mind, drink plenty of water, and use your phone and television sparingly. So we may say #ByeOmicron in 5-7 days,” she wrote.
