Aishwarya and Aaradhya test negative for COVID-19

As tweeted by Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya have tested negative for the coronavirus. They have been discharged from the hospital but the father-son duo remain under observation. Conveying his thanks to fans for their prayers and support, Abhishek tweeted, “Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”

Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan are hospitalized since July 11 whereas Aishwarya and Aaradhya were hospitalised on July 12. However, the actress and her daughter were living in isolation at home after testing positive. They were shifted to Nanavati hospital on July 17, after the complaints of breathlessness and mild fever. Since, Amitabh remains socially active, he has been sharing regular updates on social media. He has shared his gratitude towards his fans and well-wishers. He said that it is due to the their support he has been fighting well with the tough time. Amitabh shared a picture with Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya, and wrote, “We see your love .. we hear your prayers .. we fold our hands .. in gratitude and thanks !” He also posted on Instagram a black and white photo of himself with a kiss filter. The caption to this image depicts that it is easy to make enemies if a person is successful. In his latest post, he is admiring the almighty, in a manner conveying his thanks.

While announcing the diagnosis, Abhishek wrote, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff and all are being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”
Amitabh was the first to confirm his hospitalization on Twitter on July 11, followed by Abhishek.
