“I have met Sushant a couple of times and I just couldn’t believe that he can commit suicide. He was a top Television star when he was doing ‘Pavitra Rishta’, and when he decided to switch to Bollywood, during that time I have met him a couple of times. Sushant used to come to meet Mukesh Chhabra, who used to work from Anurag Kashyap’s office at that time, so through him, I met him. He was such a brilliant and educated man. Since day one I couldn’t believe that a person like him can commit suicide,” he said.
Sanjay Gandhi on CBI probe of Sushant Singh Rajput:
Talking about the CBI getting a nod to further investigate the case, the “Black Friday” actor said, “Now things are happening and we will get more clarity about the case. And if it’s a murder, then the culprit should be punished, he should be behind the bars, whoever he is or she is or they are. They should be severely punished. I always wanted justice for Sushant and I am very happy that CBI has taken up the case now and I hope the facts will come out, and I want things to be in favor of Sushant and his family. Because if they were not happy with the investigation and we’re demanding a CBI inquiry it should have been granted in the first place. I am just hoping for him to get justice now.”
