Filmmakers and directors request Uddhav Thackrey to relax the rules on shooting.

The differences have endeavored in a letter from IFTDA president Ashoke Pandit to chief minister Uddhav Thackeray. The letter has also been attributed to Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, the chief secretary of cultural affairs, Maharashtra.

Among rules that IFTDA has requested to be reviewed is one that affirms any person over 65 years of age shall not be allowed in shooting locations. Moreover, it has been proposed that there should be a doctor and nurse assigned at every shooting premise.

This limitation is therefore unrealistic since it would contain some of the great personages of our industry.

“We would like to bring it to your kind notice that the state is already suffering issues because of the non-availability of the doctors and nurses.
